Maria has experience in a broad range of commercial litigation matters ranging from employment matters to commercial lease disputes to unpaid invoice claims and beyond.
Maria is dedicated to being honest with clients with regards to the nature of their matters and providing the most desired and cost-effective outcomes possible for them.
Prior to practicing commercial law, Maria had exposure to other areas of litigation such as criminal and insurance law, which have shaped her critical thinking skills and reaffirmed her appreciation for the excitement of commercial litigation.
During law school, in addition to first year moots, Maria participated in the Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot in a patent litigation case. In the Summer of 2018, Maria participated in TMC Asser Institute’s International Law Program where she studied and received certification in International Criminal Law and International Legal and Comparative Approaches to Counter-Terrorism.
When not practicing law and feeling the adrenaline rush of litigation, Maria enjoys hobbies such as obsessing over American politics, travelling, hiking, running, yoga, and the adrenaline rush of riding a motorcycle. Maria is passionate about fundraising, volunteering, and fostering with various animal rescues.
Maria is fluent in the Serbo-Croatian languages.
