Robert Love
Robert Love practices law in the areas Wills planning, estate
administration and real estate. He has practised law with Simmons,
da Silva & Sinton since 1988.
In structuring clients’ Wills, Robert provides guidance
so as to avoid any misunderstandings among beneficiaries, and
preclude the need for litigation in the administration and finalization
of their Estate. He advises clients on transactions that would
allow them to achieve their planning objectives in the most
cost-efficient manner, including suggestions on the feasibility
of holding property jointly, designation of beneficiaries on
life insurance policies, pension plans and RRSPs, setting up
an inter vivos trust, preparing or amending shareholder agreements,
partnership agreements or other agreements which could affect
their Estate Plan. In this way Robert helps his clients and
their family be better prepared to deal with aging, sudden illness,
incapacity and death.
Robert has a large residential real estate practice, acting
for individuals who require legal assistance when buying or
selling very large properties, homes, condominiums or cottages.
He also regularly assists entrepreneurs in their acquisition
and disposition of properties.
